How to access the Chat Room:
There are two ways to get to the Chat Room in PalTalk. 1) PalTalk Scene free application download (The preferred method.)
Go to www.paltalk.com and click on the blue “Download” link near the top of the page, or the “Download for Free” button on the center right of the page. Follow the instructions for establishing your account. Once your account is established and you are logged into PalTalk Scene, you can find the “Marketspath” room by the following:
i.) Go to the “Actions” drop list
ii.) Click on “Join a Chat Room”
iii.) In the Room List pop up, type in Marketspath in the box that says “Search Chat Rooms” and click the “Go” button. Then click on Marketspath under the Room Name listing.
Or alternatively –
iii-b.) In the Room List, click on the “Business and Finance” folder, then the “Investments” folder, find Marketspath under the Rooms named on the right and click on it.
iv.) If all has worked properly you should now be in the room.
(Please note that the Marketspath room will only be in the Room List if the room is OPEN!)
2) Web Based Chat Room Access - via Internet Explorer only
[***Attention: In attempting to establish a PalTalk account through Internet Explorer web access, the “New User Create an Account” form did not display spaces for all necessary information to set up a PalTalk account. If it does work for you that is great. It should be looking for a minimum of 1) Nickname, 2) Password, 3) Confirm Password, 4) E-mail Address, 5) Security Question, 6) Security Answer – the last two needed in case of a lost password. If account setup does not work via the Web Access and accessing PalTalk via Web Access is a must for you, your best bet is temporarily downloading the PalTalk Scene software on any computer with which you are comfortable doing so, establishing your account information, then uninstalling the PalTalk Scene software.]
You can try the web based PalTalk access by clicking on the link below (and this must be via Internet Explorer):

Once there, if it says “Chat Open: Enter Room” then click on Enter Room. (If you do not have certain “Active X” control plug-ins already installed in Internet Explorer, you will have to download them by clicking the Yellow Bar that shows up on the top of the web page. It may require doing this more than once.) Once the “Active X” controls are installed and you have clicked on Enter Room …
You should now see a “Login to PalTalk” screen. If you have an established account, then Login normally. If you do not have a PalTalk account established already, click on the link to Get a Nickname and fill out the form for creating an account.*** [See “Attention” Above] Then click on the Submit button. If it worked properly, you should now be in the room.
